Question about Mitsubishi WS-65869 65" Rear Projection Television
Have a 65 in mitsubishi tv that I just bought a heat lamp for it last april 08 and here it is Jan 09 and it has gone out again, how long do they last?
Industry estimates for mercury vapor lamps of this type are 6000 hrs.
You can get best results by ensuring that the air filter is clean and avoid tutning the set off and on during viewing hours. the on/off cycle is as bad for the lamp as being lit.
