Question about LG 42PX5D 42 in. Plasma HDTV
disconet the ground on the power cord of your tv will fix the problum. or the subwofer power ground .
This is the solution I was given in response to my previously posted problem. Does anyone know what "the ground" is, or how I disconnect it?
Do not repeat DO NOT disconnect the Ground or Earth of any appliance, potentially lethal voltages can occur under fault conditions that the ground protects you from.It is a connection to a bonding point of your nearby mains distribution transformer. If your problem is hum then you could try using a balanced screened cable between your TV & audio units with one end of the screen disconnected (This is normal practice in studio's and broadcast situations) HAMAR
