You can just unplug the relay and shake it. If it rattles, it's bad.
What is your model number?

SOURCE: ice won't dispense, no power to water light

I would check hte wire harness leadngto the door under hte freezer hinge. itll be wrapped in a black web like covering. Just under hte unit itself follow ht ewire and unplug hte harness. then carfully cut hte black webbing and inspect wires. there tends ot be apinch point there and the wires will sheer from one another, . if so there is no replcing hte harness, the door would have to be replaced at a cost of nealry $600. not enough room for a wire nut, but hav had sucess using stright inline bullet style connector, or others have sucessfully soldered connections back in place

SOURCE: Superba ice maker stopped working, door water still dispensing

Use a cup of water and just fill the ice cube maker with enough water for the first batch and the sensor will then begin making ice again.
My ice cube maker stopped working after I changed the filter. After reading countless posts about wiring and defrosting and using a blowdryer into the fill line I emptied my freezer and fridge, then unplugged it. I got no results after two days. I finally just put some water in the ice cube maker (the metal ice cube tray below the white plastic fingers that forms the cubes) plugged it back in and closed the door for a few hours and it worked. I wonder if I needed to defrost the unit at all. It was working before I changed the filter, then the filter was full and stopped water from flowing (or decreased the flow dramatically anyway).
Good Luck

Ice maker and dispenser is not getting water

Make sure "Stop Bar" is all the way down. Check water filter (if applicable. If water filter needs replaced, it can stop water from entering the system). Unplug the fridge or shut power off at fuse box for 20 minutes. After restoring power, If ice maker does not start after a few minutes, Check water inline. (if fridge has been moved, it could have pinched the inline). Check the point of where the inline starts (if possible, disconnect and flush inline. The inline has been known to get clogged at their point of origin coming off of a main water line)

Unit in room displays fault code -0 and 6. Unit is a Sharp eco inverter AY-XP07ER. Unit runs for a few minutes and cuts out showing fault code.

Do not allow the signal receiver window to receive strong direct sunlight, since it can adversely affect its operation. If the signal receiver window is exposed to direct sunlight, close a curtain to block the light.

Using a Fluorescent lamp with a quick starter in the same room may interfere with transmissions of the signal.

The unit can be affected by signals transmitted from the remote control of a television vcr or other equipment used in the same room so make sure if anything recently added to the room is un plugged for testing purposes.

Do no leave the remote control in direct sunlight or near a heater also protect the unit and remote control from moisture and shot which can disclour or damage them.

Check whether the remote control batteries have become old and weak. (replace with new ones)

Try to send the signal again with the remote control pointed properly towards the units signal receiver window

Check whether the remote control batteries are installed with the polarites properly aligned

This could also be a result of the error locking out the remote as well so keep this in mind.

Also if possible unplug it and let it sit for atleast a day then plug it into a different outlet (if possible) to see if there is any change in the units functionality.

After that I would have to say check the area around the base of it and make sure that there is no moisture damage to the unit.

A good cleaning could be in order as well.

then if all else fails and the error presists contact customer service with the issue of the machine they will know what the error codes are.

hope that helps let us know how you make out.

Water pressure has dropped over time. when softener is bypassed, water pressure is fine

A inline water softener functions similar to a filter. When a filter become clogged it restricts water flow. Perhaps this is what is happening with the inline softener unit. Try changing to a new unit.

Washing machine water

Firstly, do you have water at the moment? Then, your power must be on and the taps turned to on - hot, cold or both.
Secondly, the cycle must be selected and activated; by pulling or pushing the control knob.
Still not working? Check power to the house. Switch on a house light. Does it work? Plug something else into the power point. Does this work. If not, then the fuse may be blown. ELCB (safety switch) may have tripped. Reset, replace etc;
Lights on but nothing working - then switch off, unplug the machine, turn off the taps and disconnect the hoses to the machine. Most washing machines have inline water filters and these can become blocked. Clean/replace and try again.
Beyond this it may be that the solenoids are broken and need replacing. A multimeter could confirm this.

Where do I find the filter that needs to be changed

Hi

There are two types of water filter fitted to this model they are both located in the top right hand corner of the refrigerator section.

1. The standard water filter looks like an upturned bowl, to change this you need to unplug and switch off the unit, turn off the water supply and unscrew the filter around 1/4 turn anticlockwise.
Replace the filter and tighten the bowl checking that the O rings are in place. You may make a bit of a mess with water dripping out as you remove the filter bowl. These can be quite stubborn if they have not been changed before.

2.Pure source filter is on the face of the unit next to the thermostat, again shut down the unit and turn off the water before removing the filter, there is a small button lower right on the face, when you press this the filter should pop out, again spilling some water.

It is vital that you prime the system properly before using the water or ice this means running at least 2 gallons of water out of the water valve on the front to make sure that all the air is out and that pure water is in the machine.

You manual is available at this link

Hope this helps

I have a used ultrasonic cleaner model CD3800A, and need operating instructions.

I had a problem with Ultra sonic cleaner Model 3800. It would not turn back on. I found that if I unpluged it and waited 5 seconds it would work again. So if your unit will not turn on just unplug it (wait 5 seconds) and plug it in and see if this solves your problem. Because my unit plugs into a power strip under my desk and was difficult to get at, I put aan inline switch in the power cord.

Good Luck

COOLING Dust on the condenser coils can cause overheating, observe safety precautions then clean coils. Switch off the unit before you clean them. If the problem persists, test the compressor for overheating. Overheating will cause many problems with cooling ability. Leave the unit unplugged for 3 hours and plug it in again. If it starts working, the compressor is probably overheating (Observe cautions with food going bad). A simple cause of the problem might also be that there is not enough airflow Lack of airflow is the number one cause of compressor problems and thus an owner purchasing another unit for hundreds of dollars when you can fix it for free. There should be at least several inches distance between the sides and walls/cupboards/ceiling. Electrical There is an in-line fuse mounted in the line supplying the power to the ice-maker. It is in the wire clipped to the side, change out this fuse asap. It is actually a 20-amp fused, associated with the grounded electrical supply. PARTS You may order parts very cheap from here www.canadianappliance.ca/KBRS22KV.html TIME TO CHANGE YOUR FILTER While your on the back of the system, please check the filter. Electrical: A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15- or 20-
amp fused, grounded electrical supply is required.
It is recommended that a separate circuit serving
only your refrigerator be provided. Use an outlet
that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use
an extension cord
