Why does my skype in my Macbookpro keep on saying it cannot connect to the server? what do I have to do to make my skype working again?

I would try uninstalling it, reboot the computer and install it again. If you downloaded the update before, I would suggest getting a "fresh" copy. It could be the first install was corrupt.

I would uninstall the driver you are using, if you had installed a specific driver and then download and install and updated driver for your version of MAC from:

Make sure you select the correct language and version from the choices available.

Trust this is helpful. :)

I cannot get Spyder 3 to install past the license screen. I already have Spyder 2 installed. Should I remove it? Or what? (Mac os6,MacBookPro)

This sounds like a compatibility issue. Un-install the old version and then reboot the machine. Install the new Version. Should work for you.
