You will need to check the wiring harness for a bad connection or wire. If it is good, you will need to replace the control board. Here is the control board.

SOURCE: Series 70 washing machine Will not fill with water

Sounds like your pressure switch behind the control panel is stuck. Try unhooking the tube going to the switch and see if it breaks free. If not replace the switch.

SOURCE: Water keeps flowing does not stop---does not go thru cycles

You probably pinched the water fill hose that comes up from under the tub when you closed the cabinet. Also make sure it is free from trash in the bottom of the tub and that it is tightly connected to the water level switch.

SOURCE: our washing machine will not fill cold water. the

You may have a defective cold water solenoid on the water inlet valve. There is a separate solenoid for hot and for cold. So, if you've confirmed the inlet screens are clear, more than likely you will need to replace the valve. If this is a Kenmore top loader, the following link explains how to replace a water inlet valve:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r600647-replacing_water_inlet_valve_kenmore

This is a very simple and inexpensive repair. The average cost is about $30-$35. A replacement can be purchased at any of the following websites:

searspartsdirect.com
appliancepartspros.com
pcappliancerepair.com
repairclinic.com

If you need further assistance, please post back with your complete model number (located under the wash lid along the tub rim), so that I may be able to provide you with better service. I hope this helps you.
