How fix blown element on Electrolux induction range?

Electrolux induction range. Largest element popped on PB and tripped breaker. Error code 35 and continuous beep. When turned off at breaker and turned back on at breaker had E 75. Sears repair said needed two men to remove top and bring part(s). I'm having trouble finding this as a problem with Electrolux Induction ranges. Has anyone else had this problem? Any other way to fix it? 5 year warranty but what then if it happens again? Currently 1 year old.

If it's a year old and under a 5 year warranty then it will be covered under the warranty and shouldn't cost you a dime. If it happens again then speak to someone about getting a different range since you may have received a lemon.

Sears Home Service came 5 days after we called. Told us that he would reschedule another service call as he needed parts and another service person to lift the top on and off. He said that these ranges were badly designed for doing repairs. Waiting another week and a half. I understand that if you have 3 service calls that Sears warranty will replace the item. Let's just hope that if this happens again that it does so within the 5 years.

Also received a "Solution" from FixYa from 2010 regarding power. We had the service changed from 40 to 50 amp to accommodate the new range as per the product's specs.

How to fix an error E 15 code on electrolux induction range

Thank you for your inquiry, Carol!

From what you have described your Electrolux range is displaying an error code of E15. I see you have reset your breaker and continue to receive the error code. The error code E15 means that your ESEC (Electronic Surface Element Control) test failed this could be a problem with your relay board or UIB (User Interface Board). When you reset your breaker did you leave it off for at least ten minutes? That is the best way to reset your range. You may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hopefully this information is helpful. -Matt

Electrolux induction range err code co55

Thank you for your inquiry, Phillip!

From what you have described your Electrolux range is displaying an error code of "co55". I was unable to locate that specific error code. It might be a display error with your range and I would suggest performing a reset. You can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not help correct your issue could you please provide me with your model number? With that information I would be able to assist you further. -Matt

How do I fix an Electrolux induction range element that is not at full power?

Thank you for your post, friend!

I see that you are having difficulty with your induction range element on your Electrolux range. From the information you have provided it is taking longer for items to heat up on that burner. You may need to have that burner replaced and I would recommend having a professional technician come out to perform any repairs. This is not a simple DIY job it may require a possible disassembly of your range. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Good Morning friend, thanks for your post!
I see your Electrolux range is displaying "E15" error code and you have reset your appliance but continue to receive the message. An "E15" error code stands for ESEC (Electronic Surface Element Control) self-test failed which could be a possible issue with your relay board or UIB (User Interface Board). I suggest seeking assistance from a technician to properly diagnose and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Why is there an "E" and :"15" on my Electrolux Induction Stovetop? Originally it was beeping but then it stopped.

Good Afternoon Jane - Generally, error code E15 means that the unit is experiencing a power board failure. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either unplugging it or flipping off the breaker for about 30 seconds. If the error code persists, it would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist further.

Electrolux Induction Cooktop E36IC75FSS Error Code 41

Hi Sue -- when you switched the breaker, how long did you leave it off before switching it back on? Generally, it's a good idea to leave the breaker off (or unplug the unit) for a full 30 seconds before switching the unit back on. If you did have it off for 30 seconds and the error code came on after that point, then it may possibly be a relay isse. That will more than likely require a visit from an authorized servicer to properly diagnose the cooktop. Hopefully the 30-second test prevails and the issue is resolved. Best of luck!

What does error code 35 mean on a kenmore elite induction cooktop model 790.4290. I believe the unit is made for Kenmore by Electrolux

it has a fatal or error condition. try turning the power off and than back so it the cook top can reset it's self. if that does not work you will need to contact sears for service.
