I have a Craftsman 125 psi 1.5 hp 3 gallon air compressor. When I plug it in and turn on I see a blue arc come from somewhere. How do I fix this?

If the blue arc is coming from the motor it might be an older motor that uses brushes. If the motor is serviceable you would need to take apart the motor and change the brushes. Blue arcs don't usually come from shorts

The carbon brushes on the Hoover washing machine motor are probably worn out.

Electric arc noise from the underneath right hand side and blue sparkingon my Vision HD washer

I would say that the brushes are worn down in the motor, you need to remove the motor, and check the brushes, if they are less than 2-3 mm long, then they need replacing.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Zanussi zwf 1432 w washing machine

pcb as the signs were that the pcb was stuck in a programme and unable to change. Anyway, long story short, to fix it:
Take the lid off the washing machine (2 screws at the back) *unplug first
Locate the pcb, unscrew and lift above the washing machine with all wires in tact.
Locate the wires that are coming out of the back of the "program" board, it should be 2 blue wires.
Follow these back to the pcb and unplug
plug in washing machine
Turn on washing machine
Only the on/off light should come on
Whilst on, and being careful, plug back in the wires you unplugged
VOILA, fixed washing machine!!

Right, have to go, got a weeks worth of washing to do!!!!
