Question about Acer 15.6 Inch LCD Screen Panel for Aspire 5335-2238 Laptop
I used my laptop just on battery when the power was out and now it's acting strange. I rarely leave it unplugged so I'm wondering if that may have caused the problem. When I plugged it back in (after the power finally came back to my home) I made sure it charged completely before use. I noticed that the battery light was blinking orange like it would when I'd have it on sleep mode (but the power button itself isn't flashing) instead of being a steady green like it should. This has never happened before so I'm worried about how bad it could actually be. I sure hope it isn't a big problem. This is all I have to use while my cable is still out and there is an annoying green hue to my television while watching movies. Please tell me that I don't have to hurry to replace it, which I was already planning on, but that could take some time so I need this to work as it is until that time. Help me fix this and please tell me that it isn't a major issue
Battery dead? How old is the battery? I never leave my battery in while the AC is connected, My battery went out after 4 years.I make it a practice to always unplug my laptops from the AC outlets when not in use or unattended, there is a POSSIBILITY of a malfunction and fire.

SOURCE: My acer aspire won't power up
Try to connect your PC with the battery on the power outlet if it lights and charge normally. If the lights still orange, try to open the hard disk case and pull it out then try to put it in place again. If still doesn't go, try the memory card and clean it.
But I suspect that the battery has been overly charged. Try to look for another battery of the same model if it works with another and new battery.
