Hi

I don't want a CAP at the start of each line. How do I turn that "feature" off?

To turn off automatic capitalization and text corrections:

  1. On the 'Tools' menu, click 'AutoCorrect'
  2. Click the 'AutoCorrect' tab, and then clear the check boxes for the options that you want to turn off.

There's a good chance you have failing electrolytic capacitors either in the power section or the inverter section or both.
Any caps in these sections that look bulged at the top, or bulged/leaking at the bottom need to be replaced.

Power button on TV does not work. Power button on remote still turns on cable box but not TV

Hi, my 01 Bonneville SSEI keeps saying check gas cap, then the check engine light comes on, I have replaced the gas cap and that did'nt fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks.


Hello: You need to find out if there are any codes in the engine control module. Go to a parts store ie: Auto Zone, Advance Auto and have the codes read, they normally don' charge. If the code is for the Evap system have them clear the code and see if it comes back.

How do you add refrigerant.


If you follow the lines coming from the A/c compressor, you will find a red cap on one line and a blue cap on the other line. The blue cap is the suction side. Remove the blue cap. You can buy recharge kits at the parts store that have a line and tap included. You just couple the line there, open the valve on the freon can and start the engine. Run the a/c on high. Be careful not to overcharge the system. If the belts start squeeling, that will indicate too much freon in the system and a high presure situation.

you can get help at a auto parts store, auto zone , advanced auto etc etc. they have a lot of free services. they also have do it yourself repair manuels , haynes ,chilton . if your going to keep the vehicle make the small invest ment . you can also check half priced book stores. yes i know this is not a direct answer to your question you need to know witch is the hi line and which is the low line. some times they have a cap over the conection that has h or l for example thats if some one didnt put the wrong cap on the wrong connection.

Trying to flush radiator, where is plug in block, or can I just take bottom hose off radiator, to drain all coolant.


go to auto zone/ O"rileys and buy a flush kit, it is a kit that allows you to cut, a heater hose and install a TEE with a cap on it, the cap end is also the hookup for a water hose, wait until the engine is cool, cut the hose install TEE, hook up water hose, remove radiator cap, turn water on low, crank engine and flush until water is clear, reinstall cap and your block,radiator is flushed, don"t forget to put in coolant
