SOURCE: brother serger thread

The lower looper thread MUST be threaded before the needles are threaded. You must also be sure the lower looper thread is pushed and staying all the way to the left before it is threaded through the looper eye. Double check the threading diagram and count the number of guides the thread passes through. Count how many guides you have actually passed it through. It must be the same. The dealer you bought it from should be willing to show you if you can't figure it out.

SOURCE: I have inherited my mothers Brother Homelock

You will have better luck if you go to a local sewing or fabrics shop. The smaller the better. They will know how to get this for you. Smaller shops usually mean older people there who know what their talking about and they've been at that store since it opened. just guessing here, lol. But seriouslly, if they can't find it for you then check on ebay. They definately will.

SOURCE: Hi I have just been

try www.brother.com www.manualsonline.com or www.sewusa.com and see if this manual is available. You may have to pay for it however, most manufacturers view a manual as a spare part to be charged for.

Most overlockers are very similar but if you have never used one at all, then well worth going to a demonstration or class at local store as the techniques to use one are quite different to sewing machine sewing.

Threading path is the critical thing and once mastered, using them is pretty easy.

I have a 934 brother serger , homelock, I need to purchase needles, what type, number do I buy?

Needles that fit a sewing machine will also fit a serger. There are special serger needles but they are expensive and unnecessary. I use the universal types. Your mahine manual should advise.

Hi i just got a new brother 1034D serger. And I'm

I found that I had to remove the stitch finger to thread the machine properly. Do remember to re-install it before starting to sew. If you are using 3-threads only, then remove and store the stitch finger.
Puzzled that this instruction is not in the threading section of the manual.
