Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Pop-up acer edata security management each time open laptop

I would go to the program file itself (it might be on the desktop, might be in the start menu, or might be in a folder in C:\Program Files) open up the acer e-manager and look for an option for settings.  You should be able to un-select options for security notifications and automatic updates.  I do not have the program on this computer, but I have seen it before on other laptops.  Most all programs like that will let you change the settings.  The security updates are not entirely necessary, so long as you have an anti-virus program installed on your computer.  So just turn off the auto-updates and the notifications through the program itself.

Carn't log on to msn messanger

Hi Rebecca,

You possibly don't have administrator privileges turned on.. If you're using Vista, then go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control On or Off , and uncheck the box and press OK. Then reboot the computer and try to connect, it should work then..

Hope this helps

MSN messenger wont work on acer webbook ?

Press your home blue button, go onto settings in the right handside bottom corner. Then select live update. As its the first update it might take up to two days to load. After that you will be able to use messenger :)

Having problem with my notebook pc

Hi,

If you have Norton Internet Security you need to do the following as suggested by Symantec. If you don't have Norton, let me know, but more or less this is the same across the board for whatever antivirus suite you have, disabled the instant messaging protection and then proceed to download and update the MSN Messenger.

Symantec document ID: 2004110108242406 (11/29/2004)
Disable NAV Instant Messenger scanning to stop the error message.
Uninstall MSN Messenger
Install the latest version of MSN Messenger from MSN.com
Reenable NAV Instant Messenger scanning.

Acer eData Security Management

Everytime I open certain docs. I get told that "eDataSecurity was not properly installed! Please re-install the software" I then click Ok and the it says Windows explorer has stopped working.
It's becoming an anoyence considering I can't use my windows2007 anymore :(
Is there anything I can do to re-install eDataSecurity,so I can live out happy days with my computer and not decide to throw it out my window??
