Compaq is now part oh HP, and they have most of the manuals online. try looking here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&lang=en&cc=us&docIndexId=64179&taskId=101&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=395654

Look around and you can likely easily find the manual with instructions.
