I just bought the Zune 120gb and am trying to get it all set up. I synced it and not all of the songs were added to the Zune. Some playlists have all the songs, others are missing several songs. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?

Automatically adding and removing songs and playlistsWhen iPod is set to automatically sync all music with iTunes (default setting), songs and playlists that are added or deleted from your iTunes Library will also be added or deleted from your iPod when the iPod is connected and synced with iTunes. If your iPod is set to only sync certain playlists automatically, songs are added or removed from the iPod when they are added or removed from the playlists in iTunes that are synced to iPod1. For more information about automatic syncing with iPod, see the iPod Tutorials and this article.
You will have to re-sync it. You cannot just upload the "image" of your old Zune. You will have to treat is as if you never had a Zune in the first place. You CAN transfer your Zune's name and tags, but you can't have it automatically upload all of the old songs onto it.
You need to re-sync it to your library on your computer to move/delete songs off your iPod.
To have greater control, you can set your sync settings (one of the tabs available under your iPod in iTunes). You can create a playlist (you can name it whatever) and move the songs you want to it. Then, under your sync settings, tell it to sync just that playlist. This will allow you to chose what songs you want to on your iPod, instead of your whole library. To get any changes you make to the playlist to take effect, you'll have to re-sync but that should do it.
This is also helpful if you store all your music on your computer because your iPod may not be able to hold everything (which is the major reason I do this).
Have you tried right-clicking on one of the songs and choosing Get Info? I had some songs like that too and had to fill out the artist. After that it remembered the information even if I removed the song from my library and re-added it later.
yes it is due to the zune software not being able to locate the songs. make sure they are available and keep trying. also the zune software constantly search the internet to update your music information and album art. it will automatically update the songs on the zune when you connect it
If you are asking how to add songs to you iPod (assuming you want to use iTunes)
Sync your iPod with iTunes
Connect your iPod to your computer.
When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (below Devices), select it.
If the Summary pane isn't showing, click the Summary tab.

Make sure that "Manually manage music" is not selected.
Click the Music tab and do one of the following:
automatically update your iPod with all the songs and playlists in your

iTunes loads the songs and playlists in your iTunes library onto your
iPod, and deletes songs from your iPod that aren't in your library.
automatically update your iPod with only certain playlists, select
"Sync music" and "Selected playlists," and then select the playlists
you want synchronized.
To manually sync your iPod:
Make sure that "Manually manage music" is selected.
Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.
