CA-MXGT700 JVC stereo no longer gets power?

Worked fine for ages then today just no longer turns on. I took it all apart, got all the dust out, checked wire connections. Seems to be okay but I'm no expert on speakers. Possibly a blown fuse? Any way for me to troubleshoot/fix this? I did notice a tiny little glass fuse but didn't check it. Thanks ahead.

Why won't my JVC KD-HDR car stereo turn on?

Has it ever worked before? If not, this could be a basic install issue. To bench test, combine red and yellow and run to 12V positive and Black to 12V negative to see if it powers up.

The faceplate display on my JVC stereo has a lot of dust inside it. Can I disassemble the faceplate and clean the inside? Everything works great, it is just more of an irritant!!

Yes, you can take the faceplate apart and use air pressure or a photo lens brush to remove the dust. You probably won't get all of it off as the dust is attracted to that area due to the static build up. You can try using an antistatic spray on the lens to try to dampen down the issue longer.

The most likely problem is a open fuse in the power supply or the power transformer is open.

How to switch from stereo to mono jvc mxgt700

Most there is not a switch--set selects automatically and it will often be in mono if signal a little low or set does not detect it--Seen several where it said mono but was actually in Stereo.

JVC car stereo doesn't power up

Check the ground wire. It might have come loose. Ground wire is the only black wire in the harness.

JVC MX-J200 CD Shelf System vs young boy and a penny

Coins are metal, and so this piece of metal could have come into contact with the circuit at any point, causing a short circuit. General this would have blown the fuse inside the unit. So start looking for a fuse. On the PC board it could be marked with a letter "F".

Most likely he has a couple of the connectors crossed. It is going in protect mode to keep it from damaging the internal electronics. Open it back up and double check all connections. then let me know.
