Question about Logitech Stereo Headset H150 - Headset semi-open - - 981-000349

The sound stopped working

A wire broke in the right earpiece and stopped it from working. When I tried to fix it the other headpiece stopped working too. Seems like a green wire is missing from the right earpiece when I opened them up.

The sound is only coming through one of the earpieces, usually the right one. When I move the headphone cable connecting to my laptop to the left or right, it switches to that headpiece. I don't know why...

It sounds like a short in either the wire or the connection to the computer. 90% of the time this is caused by the cable getting pinched somehow, or just getting old. You'll need a new wire, so probably new headphones altogether.

Boss oethe left side of my headphone is stop working

Hi,

The most common cause for this, is a loose wire connection to that speaker (as opposed to the speaker being faulty).

Has anyone pulled the cord too tight or tripped on the cord? If yes, then the internal wire connecting that speaker has an internal break somewhere.

Try the following:

1) Plug headphones into music device and turn on.
2) Gently press the wire 'in' at the left earpiece (or wiggle at the earpiece end). If sound returns intermittently, then you have n internal wire break in that end of the cord.
3) Gently press the wire 'in' at the plug where it connects to your player (or wiggle the cord at the plug end). If sound returns, then there is an internal wire break at this end of the cord.

In the case of broken internal wires, it is possible to repair.

Although very fragile, it is possible to resolder these tiny wires (you'll have to burn off the enamel coating around these wires first) back onto their respective connections, or onto a new plug.

Good luck....

I got these headphones and they were working perfectly but one day the right side just stopped working. even after plugging it into my ipod and laptop the right side still doesnt work. what should i do?

The wire carrying the signal to the right side has probably been damaged. You have to be careful with the wires and should not wind them up too tightly. Try seeing if you can get a sound by moving the wire close to the point where it enters the right earpiece. If you can, then it may be possible to resolder the broken connection to fix them otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to get a new pair of headphones

I have a scratchy sound under the bass in my headphones? Any help is appreciaated.

Two reasons are possible , first it can be from the source , so try the headphone on another device , increase volume and see if the noise persists. if so the headphone has problems.
Now this can be due to faulty earpiece speakers or poor connections within the flexible wires to the jack.
If the noise is evident on only one side then the headpiece must taken out and confirmed.-- a rather tough job to **** open to get access to the earpiece.
The replacement units are available only with Sennheiser but the cost must be taken to consideration.

My right earphones piece broke off in my pocket how can i fix it?

I'm not sure if what part came off but if the wires were broke then.
I would like to to give you something. It's the gift of time. The time that you are going to spend on attempting to repair your earphones. I'm not sure how much experiences you have with taking things apart and putting back together but, I've been doing it all my life. I have a hot air pencil and a awesome soldering station. I also have two pair of Shure brand earphone. At about $200.00 a pair I was highly motivated to fix them. Although I was somewhat successful, they never did sound quite right again. Needless to say I spent way to much time trying.
There is just too many things you have to get right inside them.
Now if it's just the plastic section then it's an easy fix.

LG Rumor Internal Earpiece Toggles from Working to Not

There could be a short in the earpiece. This can be fixed at a repair center if they are stocked with the right parts. If not they can still check out the phone and see if it is eligible for an exchange.

Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.

I can only hear when my speakerphone is on or my earpiece is plugged in

The speaker of your cellphone is broken.
You must visit the store you bought it from to fix it for you.
Probably it will need to be replaced by a new one.

Thank you

Speaker microphone malfunction

I had same problem with my PPC so I tried hard reset didn't help, PCS support did hard reset and nothing, same problem so what I did is insert that headset plug in and out couple of times that fix the problem but any time I use my wired headset problem comes back.
I realized that the problem was in the 2.5 jack it self, I took it to Sprint store, left it for a hour when I am back the tech guy said that they replace my phone with new one, oh well this is third phone in less then 14 mos.
But anyway now it works just fine so I try to use Bluetooth headpiece much is possible. Waiting for my 2 year contract to end so I can get PPC-6800 or something better, had too many problems with this phone. I like the phone but it was freezing up on me every day and tech support didn't do s!#@!#t for me to fix it until this problem comes up, I'm kind of glad it did :-) in the way.
