My player won't play my mp3s. Its says no music, but when I plug it into my computer there are mp3s loaded. I tried several times to reformat it but it always fails. I also tried deleting some of the files but it won't delete. Only my FM works. Whats wrong with it? My player is a Creative Muvo S200.
Try loading files on different bit rates and see what bitrate your player can play. some player wont play files that are directly copied to the player, it needs a certain software to encode it to its standard format.
sony walkman is an example, it has its own software to encode files from mp3 to its own supported format.

The PMP283C-4 MP3 player plays music in the MP3 format... Many media players/rippers (free to download) will rip your CD to MP3 and you can then load the music MP3s to your player's memory by connecting the player to your computer with the USB data cable. (the player shows up in My Computer as "Removable Disk").
Delete songs and Format (Helps with try to delete BAD TRACKS and folders that will not delete Labeling Unknown Songs: open Windows Media Player and go to library click on artist. The sub folders will be named by the artists and the unknown songs will be in the sub that say's unknown. Click on unknown then right click on the title bar put a check next to artist and album artist. Right click song under artist or album artist or both and type in the name of the artist etc.... This change in your computers Music folders also then sync with your sansa or media player then load songs to it........
If you have not erased the MP3 files on the Zune, you should still have them on the Zune and can play these MP3 music files.
When you plug your Zune into the computer can you see the MP3 files on the Zune as an external drive on the computer?
If so you can copy the MP3 files back into your computer.
is the firmware up to date and what format is your music (mp3,vob,wav,wma,)?you might need an update for your software on your player and check to see what your player is able to play like mp3s, wma, wav,vob....
why do you wanna hear the music on the computer anyway? if the problem is not playing on the player then the format might be different even though its mp3 there are different kinds of mp3s you know try downloading the latest media player for your computer
when you plug in the usb cord somtimes i'll get a box asking what i want to use windows media player or open a folder with the contense. Then some times i get the add new hardware wizard which doesnot find the program to run the hardware correctly.
so the only way i found to load mp3s onto the ZTE C79 is to get a micro sd car and reader. when i plug i in a box comes up with the same results windows media player or a folder option i click the folder option. and if you have mp3s in your windows media player then right click on a song and open file location it will then tell you wether they are mp3 format or wahat drag and drop the mp3 format songs into the my music folder which is in the removable disk folder . As long as they are mp3 they will play on the phone. as for ringtones the only way i found to load them is to actually record them with the record memo tool in tools. which sucks because they usually end up being all distorted or very low volume. So if anyone know how to load ringtones please let me know
