Question about NewCon Optik NZT 22 Goggles
Faded over about one year. Can you help fix??
Fixing of this problem is rather expensive and almost impractical in cost
By fading I am presuming the display deteriorated to give vision like one imagins a cataract causes. If so:-
My question would be , have you kept the unit closed from daylight and avoided exposure to bright light, even at night ( car headlights, Neon etc) You dont have to be wearing them to have them affected by light, carrying them withe protection shields off will still damage them.
The quality of the internal battery, can also affect the quality of night vision being delivered. Have you rreplaced the batteries and tested the unit for improvement?
\Finally... moisture can also affect the visuals, they should be kept in their pocket and stored with silicon crystals to ensure no moisture gets into the lenses or anywhere else.
There are several places on the Internet that specialize in the selling and repair of these units. I would suggest you arrange for an inspection with onje of them to determine what the fault is. Optical damage, battery, moisture.
Thanks for using FIXYA
