Remove the fuel cap and pour the contents of the fuel tank into a can. Check to be sure that the fuel filter is attatched to the fuel hose.

How do I fix my 050AV stihl chain saw

as you didn't mention any details of this saw , im gonna suspect its at least 10+ years old , and I can say if its still got its original points and condenser , even its orig coil that's where id start looking for a problem ! , I do assume you have already tried a new plug as they do short out sometime and wont fire even in air !! , these are great saws they have been making this design since 1968 (I have a 72 that still runs !!!) and they still make them ,although they renamed it a farm boss nowadays , its still the same design , although they don't come with points any more no there all electronic now

Any complaints of saw catching fire?

Not really, but if you've had the issue, maybe the vent tube is allowing gas to be dripped into the carbuetor compartment behind the filter. Sometimes, when held horizontally, they will leak a bit out and older saws sometimes have the vent line to deteriorate from the alcohol in todays fuels causing a few drops of gas to escape. I've worn out two 041 Farm Boss saws and never a problem other than normal maintenance.

How do i clean oiler for chain on stihl farm boss?

The filter could be stuffed with sawdust, but depending on the model of saw, the problem could also be the oil pump drive system.
First of all though, empty out the chain oil and then part fill the chain oil tank with petrol, replace the cap and with the saw switched off, shake the saw violently for 10 secs. Remove the cap and empty out the tank and then refill with chain oil and try out the saw, revving it and check if any oil is flowing onto the chain.
If that has not solved the problem, let me know what the model of the saw is, Farm Boss is not enough, it could be an 038 an 041 and a few more as the farm boss name is used as well as the number.
We can then check a few other points which could be causing the problem.

How do you change the saw blade on a kobalt keyhole saw?

You'll need a flat head screw driver and a pair of protective gloves. This saw resembles a gun. There are 3 key points to review. The first is in the front of the saw, there are 2 pivot points (one sits on top and other is on the side). They resemble dead bolt locks. The second point is in the middle, and resembles a round button. The last point is towards the back of the gun, sand resembles larger dead bolt lock.

Put on your protective gloves.

The change the blade, place the saw, blade side up on a steady surface. With your left hand, hold the saw blade down. Use the screw driver with your right hand and wedge the screw driver between the last point and the blade. Push down on the screw driver to create enough leverage to push the blade forward, past the final point. The blade will shift out of position, beyond the current locked position, and release the blade. It may need a little push, but it will eventually pop out of it's current position. Be careful when it unlocks, my saw blade flew across the room! Hope this helps.
