the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

If you wait longer after boot up windows will eventually recognize the proper card drivers and install them. It is a good sign that you are seeing the mouse. Reboot and wait for at least 30 minutes and repeat process until it finds the proper driver. it should take the most 3-4 times

SOURCE: how to fix pci express error for Toshiba Qosmio G40?

Whatever is plugged into your PCI Express slot is defective and needs to be replaced, or re-seated (unplugged and plugged back in). Also if something went defective on the PCIE slot it may have also damaged the circuitry on the motherboard around the slot.

The Wireless network adapter may be connected via a PCIE slot. You may also have a little plastic trap door underneath your laptop where you can have access to the card. There are 2 pigtail connectors with wires that u can just pull off the terminals and then It has 2 clips on the sides of the card keeping it flat. You open the clips and it pops up in a more vertical position, then you can slide it out and reboot to see if the error is still there or not :) If its gone try plugging it back in and seeing if the problem's resolved by re-seating the card. If it works without the card installed you should buy another wireless network adapter.

Hope that helps

PCI error is a critical error and can stop hdd and other systems working. Download the latest drivers from Toshiba to another machine and save them. Copy them to your Toshiba and install them. That may sort it out for you.

My screen brightness its lees

It is possible it is a problem related to the battery and or the charger--if unit over a year old the battery which gets voltage to operate from charger even if plugged in may be bad.

Failing that it would seem to be an issue with the display unit or the power to it from inside the unit.

Toshiba QOSMIO G45-AV680 Laptop - Battery Problem

Yasodhar,
I'm surprised Toshiba did not suggest you to upgrade your Bios. Next time you talk with tech ask for a level 2 tech or an engineer.(Just a suggestion.) Click the link below & update your Bios.

There are more downloads for your model G45-AV680 but I suggest you goto Toshiba's site & choose what you want other than the Bios. Driver page here.
