Re: sound card problem
You just need to reinstall the driver that's it. Go into Device Manager. On the list of hardware find the sound card, right click on your sound card device and then click on Update driver.your driver can also be found at your computer manufacturers website and your sound card manufacturers website. Let me know how it goes.

try this, uninstall the drivers first. take out the sound card. then reinstall the drivers without the sound card attached, once the drivers are installed, power down the computer the re-attach the sound card then start the computer back up. ive seen a few devices that are like that so maybe that will work.
Make sure that your sound driver version is intended to run on your computer operating system or it supports your current operating system. Some drivers are limited only up to windows xp or win vista. You should get a driver that will run under your current operating system. Make sure also that the sound device on your computer bios is not disabled.
Hi, if you have the original driver CD for your system then run the whole set up not just the audio.
If you donot have this CD then look inside your computer, locate the manufacturer and any model numbers you can see. go the manufacturers web page and download the latest drivers there.
