Appears that power switch is pressed in. Fortunately it is in the on
position and will not turn off. How do I replace the switch? Suggestion on where to get Miele parts?

you should only have power on the black wire into the switch. The white wire feeds straight through. the switch breaks the black and routes it to one of the three outputs for the motor.
If the fuse is good and you are sure your outlet has power, then check the safety switch is being depressed. On the back is the lint screen, there should be a clip that depresses the switch. Hope this helps you.

4. PRESS and HOLD both the UP and DOWN arrow buttons until the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR starts to blink.

6. While the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR is still flashing, again PRESS and HOLD both the UP and DOWN arrow buttons untile the FILTER REPLACEMENT INDICATOR turns off.
If the steps above have been performed properly, the Filter Replacement Indicator will turn offand not flash again for 11 months. If the Filter Replacement Indicator remains on, repeat the steps again.
*Note that in step 6 above, the Filter Replacement Indicator MUST still be flashing when the buttons are pressed the second time.The Filter Replacement Indicator will continue to flash for approximately 3 seconds after the buttons are released as required in step 5 above.

It won't go out by itself.

I was able to find the power-on switch to be defective. The switch is a momentary normally off switch constructed of two contacts on a printed circuit board. After five years, the surface of the switch contacts became oxidized and no longer made electrical continuity when depressed. I rewired the two wires to a new momentary switch and both my Ionic Air Cleaners are working again.
When the red light is blinking, press and hold both up and down arrows until the red light blinks RAPIDLY, release both for a second or two, and press and hold both again until it stops blinking. It cured my problem.
