Where can i get wireing diagram no tail lights 1999 Jeep Chrekee classic?

I would go to the Mfg. web site and try to download the wiring diagram. You will probably have to look them over good and make sure it is the correct wiring diagram because on most vehicles made today some have 5 or 6 wiring harnesses they use and you have to find the one that is installed on your vehicle.Vehicle wiring is a headache to say the least. I have run into the same problem and it was a different solution on each of them. I had a 2000 Ford Explorer that had a blue wire with a black stripe and only one end on it! I put a signal tracer on it and it went out when it went through the fire wall. I have used that signal tracer to trace a wire 500' on electrical jobs but the signal stopped at the fire wall. I can tell you this sometimes I would find that the power to the brake lights split off in a switch or the tail lights were powered from a completely different place than where the brake lights were so look elsewhere away from the brake lights for the power to the tail lights.

Wiring schematic for a upper thermostat

Jan 2013
1) Copy following links for wiring upper thermostat:
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/WH-w-combined2-1000.jpg
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-water-heater-thermostats.html

2) Thermostat must sit flat against tank wall to read correct temperature, and entire opening must be covered with insulation so cool room temperature will not interfere with temperature reading.
Be sure to put cover back on side of tank for electrical safety, and to prevent any possible fire caused by melted parts and overheating.

3) Tighten wires very tight under screw plate, and make sure only copper wire is used, and all wires under plate are same gauge, do not mix stranded wire and solid wire or stranded will become loose.
Only copper under the screw plate and cut back insulation so no insulation gets under screw plate.

Need to increase the recovery rate of Rheem 82SV30-2 elect water heater. Has 4500w upper and 3380w lower elements. Was told by County Health Dept that it was possible to wire both elements together for...

Basic information: Typical electric water heater operates in non-simultaneous fashion where either the upper element is ON, or the lower element is ON, or both elements are OFF, but both elements are never ON at same time.

Easiest way to increase recovery. If you have 10 gauge wire and 30 amp breaker, then install two 5500 watt elements. This will not work if you have smaller 12 gauge wire and 20 amp breaker.
Watt rating appears on side of each element.

Change wiring.
If you run two separate 10 gauge wires to water heater, with each wire on a separate 30 amp breaker, then you can 'wire both elements together' to operate in simultaneous fashion. The elements are each wired independently of each other, but they can both turn ON at same time, and this action avoids heating lag if you also install larger 5500 watt elements.
Simultaneous water heaters can be ordered from manufacturer, and this is common with 80 gallon models where tank must keep up with larger demand.

Wiring a wh40 intermatic timer to a sears hot water heater

Shut off breaker to you water heater. STILL TEST FOR VOLTAGE BEFORE YOU TOUCH ANY WIRING. The 3 wire that go to you water heater disconnect them. You are going to install them to your WH 40 timer.
The wires that you disconnected will now go to terminals: Black to Terminal 1 & White To Terminal 3, The Ground copper wire will go to the ground terminal should be a green screw.
You will have to buy some 10/2 wiring to go from your timer to your water heater. You can buy it by the foot at Lowes. Figure how much you will need.
With the new 10/2 wire install the Black to terminal 2 & White To Terminal 4, the ground wire will go to the ground screw with the other ground wire.
Wiring that went to terminals 2 & 4 will be installed to you water heater, the same way when you disconnected them. Set your timer clock and your done. Turn breaker back on!

Scalding hot water

If your water is too hot, then either the water tank thermostat or the wiring to the indoor unit is defective. When the water reaches the set temperature, then the tank thermostat contacts should open up and shut off the combustion unit. If the combustion unit does not shut off, then check all wiring and relays. A manual is located at http://www.scribd.com/doc/29550374/Amana-HTM-Plus-Manual
