SOURCE: Panasonic PT-56LCZ70...according to the manual

Just curious when all of you purchased tv's. We purchased ours in Jan. 2008. and is now having the malfunction 9. Online manuel says this is a lamp problem and lamps have a two year labor 5 year part warranty so I am working on getting it taken care of under warranty as I have heard lamps are pretty spendy. I will try to let you know how it turns out....Any updates on yours???

Hi.

The lamp thermal fuse is located on the ballast, that is the power board supplying the lamp. Its part number is LSJA0464. Here the part: Panasonic.

Here a diagram. The lamp fuse is nr.252 in diagram.

The main thermal fuse is instead at the back, check also its connection cable.

here the location of main thermal fuse, please see the pictures below:

There are more thermal fuses inside TV, the others are in proximity of the fans.

All diagrams and parts should be available from Sears. Enter the model number here to find out.

Regards.

Hi, The biggest fuse to be replaced is a 30amp. I don't know what you have that is that big. Could be a relay you have. Usually under the steering wheel and left. Good luck.

Electric LG DLEX2801W (steam dryer) not heating.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have already cleaned the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. You can test it for continuity before replacing. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Sorry that I have not gotten back sooner, have been out of town. Tried your solution worked for one day. Now what happens we have to turn off the power for 10 minutes then turn back on. Sometimes it works...

I'm sorry to tell you this, but I believe you will need to contact a repair shop. Is the TV still under warranty? Either way, contact Panasonic and select an authorized repair shop. 1-800-211-PANA

Panasonic PT-56LCZ70 T.V. works fine but the picture is red. Any ideas why?

If you mean the picture has a red cast to it you can go into your setup mode and change teh color temp setting to normal or cool. It sounds like it is set in the warm mode which adds more red to your picture.
