Re: ipod touch empty
You will need to restore it then.put it in DFU mode while connected to the computer.
to do this, hold the home and power buttons for ten seconds and then
let go of the power but keep on holding the home for 10 secs. the
screen will be black and nothing will show up. go to itunes and restore
it from there

First attach your iPod to the computer through your charging jack. Then hold down the close and home button for 10-20 seconds and then when your iTunes account sees that you want to restore your iPod then it will erase everything and put it back into its factory condition. Erasing any password! Hope it helps

your touch locked itself back up. your going to have to jailbreak it again. You will need a copy of the itouch version your using or something newer. and download quickpwn. you should be able to do it. let me know if you need the firmware.
If you have your new computer with itunes you should be able to charge your ipod on the new computer. Once it is charged you should be able to backup your ipod using itunes and retreive your music.
In general ipods are what we call FLASH devices. Which means that just removing the power source (in this case the internal battery) would not wipe the memory. It has to be purposely erased. However, I would not advise removing the battery as this would most likely result in damage to the unit.
