SOURCE: i have a bissell quickwash model 1950 j 02175. it

I have the same model why it is not picking up the water is there is dust on the back of the motor and around the motor all you have to do is remove the two screw on the back of the lower white plastic over the motor and remove the dirt water containter there will be two screw in front of the white plastic covering the motor remove the screw the plastic will come off and just vacuum all the dust out and the quicksteamer will be like new again! I am very mechanically inclined so it was easy to solve that problem.

Water leaking from somewhere on my bissel quicksteamer model #1970

This is not an easy one for us to offer advice on because we cannot see it. There are a lot of places that can leak water and there are a lot of parts that can wear out. You need to check the hoses and connections on all the tanks and spray bars. At least you can get parts for it now: http://www.vacsite.com/en/bissell-parts-1/bissell-parts/1970-quicksteamer.html

Why want my quick steamer suck up dirty water?

Check the manual for filters. They are generally small and need to be cleaned after each use. Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691

My bissell quickwash machine will not **** up the water that I spray on the carpet from the machine. What do you think the problem is?

It is possible that the pump is not working as it fails to mop up the water which is used for the washing. In some cases this is a small pump that to do the job of sucking up the spray and soap from the carpet.
You need to remove and check for failure of the vacuum hose , leak in the system reducing the suction.

the pump belt is off or broken, sometimes when you put too much soap or cleaner in device the belt will slide off the end of the roller, use pinesol to clean this works and doesn't do that, not too much cleaner.
