Question about Dell Computers & Internet
I cannot access wireless network
If on windows then for as a temporary solution, go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, Ease of Use, On Screen Keyboard and then simply click on your password letters to enter it. As once the on screen keyboard is on then your computer can also enter the text from there.
Now, to your problem, if you are able to write the password using the On Screen keyboard and your keyboard is working fine else where then this is a misbehavior and can occur on Windows O/S. My suggestion would be to Restore your Computer to default Factory Setting and see if it works. As this is a good and quick solution for this problem. Else you can use the above method anytime to write anything if your keyboard is not responding to a particular event.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

i would buy a replacement keyboard for it. most of the time you should be able to find one for cheap on ebay. they are fairly easy to replace and only require popping off the plastic trim on the top edge of the keyboard, removing a few screws and the data wire. then connect and screw in the new one and pop the trim back in place.

in this case just uninstall the driver for the wifi card and reinstall it ...If you do not have the driver you will find it on the support site of the manufacturer...just type Dell support and on the site ..locate the model in the download area ..and choose the operation system you have installled and download the driver ...After that go to the device manager and uninstall the wireless card and reinstall the new driver ..this way you will get read of the passwords..
in case that the password is from the network you try to log into ...than you have to get it from the admin of the network...
this is the site for the drivers download...

Is your numlock on? That would cause some of the alpha keys to act as numbers. It's a way for the laptop to be used kind of like a 10-key number pad, but usually it's not very convenient. The letters on the left side of the keyboard should still work though. To shut off numlock it's a combination of the Fn key and which F key at the top says Numlock.
