Question about Compaq Presario R3210us Notebook
Dear Joyce, here are few of the reasons why your internal camera is not working:
1) The camera driver is not properly installed or the installed one doesn't support your camera. (To be sure of this go to Device Manager and then look for any Yellow Question Mark)
2) If you are sure that driver is of correct version and is present in the system then your Camera Strip might have been damaged. The internal camera is connected to your MOTHERBOARD with a small brownish strip and if it is damaged the camera does not works at all or there might be a loose connection to any end. But for that you have to take your laptop for inspection at an authorized center.
