Connecting an Ipod to a JVC KD-G310

This particular cd player doesn't have an auxilliary input and I want to connect my ipod on a direct line and stay away from fm transmitters.  I have been trying to find the right connector and really haven't had any luck. Any suggestions?

Try this, you can connect thru CD Changer Input, that called J-Link. There is cables, that goes from J-Link to 3.5 mm jack.
So you need to buy on the ebay "JVC J-Link to 3.5 mm".
Best regards, Zhenya.

It is impossible. There are no component inputs or 3.5mm inputs. FM Modulator is the only way to go. If you are worried about interference, there are mudules that plug directly into your antenna.

Look at e-Bay for a KS-U58 cable. It is design to connect an external 3.5mm to your radio, and use it with an Ipod, cellphone or any device with the standard 3.5 mm jack (Earphone type). Once you plug it, do the following setup:

Press and hold down the volume knob - press the track forward button until the display shows EXT IN - using the volume knob, you can toggle between two options: CD Changer and EXT IN. set it to EXT IN. - press and hold the volume button again. when you switch sources again, EXT IN should be there.

I want to connect my mp3 player to my eclipse 5443 cd receiver in my car.

If there no suitable audio inputs at the back of the CD reciever then you can use an audio FM transmitter that plugs into the cigarette lighter, then connect your MP3 player into the FM adapter and tune your FM radio the the FM transmitter's frequency to listen to the music on your MP3 player.

I have a pioneer cassette player, how can I input a auxiliary audio into pioneer keh p5450,(like ipod, usb drive....)

ipods come with a transmitter that plugs into the ipod. it has an fm radio instruction manual tells you what frequency to tune to and how to select the station on the transmitter. this way you dont wire anything into your cd player, providing it has fm radio.

Can i connect ipod adaptor to rca output jacks?

With out an input jack you cannot connect straight to your head unit. The RCA out puts only send a signal out. Your best bet is use an FM transmitter for your Ipod. The sound wont be as good but I can't think of another way with buying a new head unit.

Cannot select ipod as a source on my deh-1500

The RCA jacks are preamp outputs (to use with a sub or external amp) not input to use with an iPod

There is no way to direct-connect an iPod to the DEH-1500.

You can use an iTrip or other FM-radio transmitter to play your iPod through an unused channel on the FM radio band

Jensen CD400M / IPOD

Based on the specs of the CD player there are no AUX inputs on the deck. Neither 1/8 inch or RCA inputs. Has preamp RCA outs but that doesn't help. The only way to do it would be to use an FM Transmitter. Like these ones or others that are compliant with your generation of Ipod.

Connecting a mp3 player to my cd deck

Hi Rembo,

From reading the manual on your deck, you do not have an Auxilliary input for something like a MP3 player.  now if you want to hear your MP3 player on the Deck , you will need to get you a Fm transmitter with auxilliary input.  I think they have those at Best Buy.  Thats where you hook your MP3 head phone output to the AUXilliary input on the FM transmitter.  You would have to tune your Tuner on the deck to the frequency of the Transmitter.  Coolest thing to do with your Deck is to download all the songs you love in MP3 format on your computer, and burn about 150 to 250 of those songs on one CDR. Then play that in your deck.

I tryed to use the red and white plug ins in the back to hook my ipod up but when i play my ipod i hear the ipod and either the radio or a cd is it possible for me to b able to hook my ipod up with out...

The RCA red and white plugs are OUTPUTS to connect to an amplifier. You are driving one audio source against another-which isn't good. There is no aux input to connect your iPod to. Copy your Ipod music to a CD-R instead and then play it in the pioneer.

Help

Hi, Normally, your JVC Car Stereo will not allow direct connection to an Apple iPod. However, there are several aftermarket interface adaptor that will allow you to do so: 1. Connect the iPod to a JVC KS-PD100 which in turn is connected to the CD changer jack of the KD-G720 (rear of the unit). Set the stereo to CD changer external input setting and you're ready to go; 2. Connect the iPod to an FM Transmitter such as the Griffin iTrip (w/ Dock connector) which in turn will broadcast the IPod music as an FM signal. Operating the KD-G720 on FM radio setting will receive the IPod's broadcast music. Hope this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Good luck and kind regards.
