I JUST UNJAMMED MY HP 3930 PRINTER AND I JUST RECIEVED A " THE CARRAIGE IS STALLED MESSAGE"

Turn the printer off and unplug it. Open the area where the catridges are. Gently move the carriage back and forth to make sure it is free and able to move. If it is. Plug it back in and turn it on and it will re align the carriage itself. If you cannot move it or the tape that holds it is trapped or broken, then you will need to send it to an hp repair facility.

Whenever i try to print it does 1/2 page then the cartridge keeps getting stalled on one side. Error message on screen says print cartridge stalled, error message on printer says clear carraige jam. Cannot...

If there's a carriage jam. While the printer is turned on, Open the access door of you printer.
If the carriage is stuck at the left side, try moving it manually by hand to the right most part of the window. If it's stuck on the right, try moving it by hand to the left.
If you've already done that. While the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back. Close the access door. And then plug it back in.
Make sure you restart the computer first just to avoid documents getting stuck in the print queue. Try printing again. Usually it does the trick.

When you print the document then select the size of the paper you want that to be print in. It will ask you when you print the document. It might be the case the default A4 size is set to other.
Try it might it can help you out.If not leave a comment will provide another solution.

I changed my ink cartridges (x2600)and now when i try and print i get a cartridge stall message. Also the letters J and E flash seperatly where the number of pages would appear. I tried taking the ink...

I had the same problem. E J kept flashing. My black cartidge on the left side wasn't set correctly. It was a refill from a store an was smaller and looked different than the color . It was blocking the ink carraige from moving. I took out the black and pushed it back as far as possible. Now it works fine. Hope it works

Printer Carrier Stall

You may have had a foriegn object fall inside the printer such as a pen or paper clip. You may also have a broken sensor which enables the carraige to move to the centre when the lid is open. You can try and carefully move the carraige over manually when the printer is turned off to see if there is something blocking its path. If the sensor is broken you can replace the cartridges by moving the carraige over when turned off.

Noisy hp7450 printer

There's a rubber part in the printer on the right inside the printer underneath the print carriage that slides back and forth. If this has moved it will foul the print head. I moved mine back into the right place and the print head now moves freely.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Paul.

Printer Cartridge Carriage Stalls

the settings of the gears is misalligned.a technician at your place is advisable as this is a very important part of the printer if any of the arm breaks the printer may face major problems.still stick that arm with a cellow tape on it firmly and then give a print out.if the page prints properly that means it got adjusted automatically.
