Printer mains leads are typically pretty universal (as long as its is not a HP printer). Check the back of your printer and it will be either a figure 8 mains lead or a 3 pin mains lead. Both of which can be picked up cheaply online.

My Canon i6500 Printer has been in storage for a while when we moved house . I think there is a cord missing. Can you help. I only have one cord which is a USB to connect to the computer, is there a cord...

There is a mains power lead needed for this model of printer.
I don't have the same model printer here with me, but as far as I know from this range, you will need a standard *figure-8* lead, available from most shops around. Many £1 shops have them too.

Hi I have got a Lexmark X1190 printer and

you should have a cord for the power supply that goes into the printer from the power supply it plugs into the supply then into the printer, if you don't have it take it back to where you bought it and tell them it's missing. Hope this helps and thanks for using fix-ya.

Printer won't turn on...is plugged in and has been printing well.

hi, have you tried checking, changing the fuse in the plug.
check the lead is fitted correct.

as for the fuse is the printer running of mains lead or just of the usb lead let me know, if its mains the unplug the lead that goes to your comp and then try it with just the power lead plugged in to see if that makes the differance.

Check the mains lead works try it on something else if you can if its running off only the usb lead then the lead may be at fault.

Let me know then i can assist you further ok

No electric getting to printer although I have change fuse, check socket and bought new lead Epsdon C62

It sounds like you may have a faulty power supply or main board. If you wish to carry out further technical diagnosis, you will need to dismantle the printer. Please let me know if you wish to do this, by making a new post, and I will provide helpful information for this task.

Otherwise, you must take it to a technician for diagnosis and repair.

Lexmark x73..want to replace mains lead. wherecan i get one and approx how much

Having a X73 myself, it uses a transformer to reduce the voltage, the output on this transformer is (from memory) around 30 volts DC, about 1.5 amps (1500 milliamps) output. Let me know if your machine had a transformer also, as I am in Australia I do not know what your power requirements are. I can advise as to further details if needed as I believe some OLD HP transformers are/were similar in voltage output. Send e-mail with X73 in heading to kaos_reflex@yahoo.com.au, that way I know you are keenly interested in follow up, I can check further then.

Lost lead

The cable you are after is a new standard type, ask at your local pc dealer radioshack the source, for a 'mickey mouse' laptop cable (the end supposedly looks like the mouseclub logo), about $8-10 locally in NS at cablesUnlimited

HP PSC 1317 All-In-One Printer coppier scanner.

This product looks to have an In-Line Transformer. This is where you plug a mains cable into a transformer (brick) which in turn plugs into your printer.

The mains cable is a standard three pin IEC lead, sometimes called a "kettle" lead. it is the same cable that you would use to plug in a monitor or PC. you can pick one of these up almost anywhere, most people tend to have a couple of these knocking around the house too as it is so common.

The In-Line AC Adapter is a little more difficult to get hold of, (you may be able to pick one up from ebay or just by searching online) There are 2 part numbers that I can find.
Q7310-60003 and 0950-4466 but they are essentially the same item.

Good luck
