Question about Belkin Wireless Pre-N (F5D8230-4) Router (F5D82304)
I am trying to instal a Belkin Router and when I enter 192.168.2.1 and try to login I leave the password blank and click 'submit' I am then told "login error". I have reset the router to manufacturers setting and then re-tried the above steps with the same end result. I appear to be going in circles.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Use the reset button near where the AC adapter plugs in. Hold it in for at least ten seconds. This should set it back to factory, allowing you to set another password.

You have to connect(wired) through one of the ports on the back of belkin to a laptop(or PC) physically. And this laptop(orPC) should have the software that came in the CD as part of the router packaging.
Then you open the web browser and and type http://192.168.1.1 on the address bar. This should let you access the router from where you can configure your settings..Network name, password, password for the router itself etc.

Once you reset the router, it will come back to the factory default settings. You will need to set up the router from the start.
You can try to find the wireless network key without resetting the router. Open the set up page of the router. On this page you will find all the wireless settings of the router. Do you have any computer connected to the router ? If not then you will need to connect the computer to the router.
Check the IP address on that computer. open the set up page of the router. When you try to open the set up page of the router, it will ask you for the password of the router. Try to use the default password of the router. If that doesn't work then you must have password on the router also. Try some of your passwords and see if you can open the set up page of the router. Once you open the set up apge , you will get the wireless network key.
If the page is not opening then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure the router.
