Check that Ice cubes are freeezing completely before dumping into tray.
Check that spray nozzle isn't inadverdantly clogged and spraying water everywhere.
Check that water inlet solenoid is actually closing and not leaking water into bin.
Check thermostat for the bin not working properly, frozen over or something.

The ice cubes are fine and there is no water leaking into the bin. I read that I should check the drain to see if it is clogged.

99% of the time the drain is clogged.

SOURCE: Scotsman DCE33A-1WB Residential Ice Machine Problem

Making good ice. Could be cube size control. Could be a weak compressor. Also these machines are household and meant to run in air conditioned space.

Water in the ice compartment with ice. How do I drain?

There should be a 3/4" fitting and 3/4" pvc pipe either on the back or on the bottom. Sounds like it's stopped up. Try blowing out the drain line first, but blow from the machine not back into it.

I would suspect the water pump is making this noise. If it is, there is no repair, you must replace it.

Scotsman icemachine m# DCE33A-1WB ice cubes are hollow

There is a cube size thermostat that energizes the timer. If it has been energizing early try a thicker setting on the cube size. If still gives problems ... your trouble was back in Feb I assume in cold weather.. If the machine is not in a room where the temp stays above 65'f this can also cause premature harvesting as you discribe also. Also if you are loosing water from the water curtian not sealing off it will cause the problem you discribe because the water is dripping off and out before it can freeze. Any futher questions please post. If this helps you understand your trouble please rate me as high as yuou can, thank you for using fixya

Make sure the curtain is not torn and there are no leaks from the resivoir. If ok check to make sure you have enough water pressure to the machine. Make sure you have enough water passing through the valve during harvest cycle. To check... turn the timer cam to harvest cycle. Water should come in quickly behind the curtain on the right side and the timer should advance three minutes to freeze portion of cycle and stop running. Water should spray and form ice for approximately 25min. Then the timer advances for 5 minutes into harvest cycle and it refills with water again.
