Question about Televison & Video
No way to to connect to myharmony.com, the remote is always rebooting. Is there a way to hard reset to factory setting on the device itself (the "off" button during 15 seconds doesn't work, it reboots again before 15s!)
Here is a confirmed solution - it helped with mine Harmony Touch:
- Press and hold the Off and Menu button for 30 seconds
- Log in to you Harmony account
- Connect the remote to PC and sync it.

SOURCE: screen keeps rebooting
This is probebly an issue with the battery being loose. You can do the following:
1. Fold up a pice of paper and put it against the battery then put the battery cover back on. The paper will ensure a snug fit.
2. Click "Downloads" in the sofware and select "Firmware". The remote's firmware will up updated.
3. Update the remote.
Hopwfully that will stop the remote from rebooting!

Ah, the 'blue screen of death'. Before you give up on this try one more thing -
Sometimes putting the remote in 'safe mode' and doing a firmware update will bring the screen back to life. Here's how:
Launch the Logitech Remote software on your computer and click on "Downloads" (on the top menu bar). Then, take the battery out of your remote and at the same time you connect the USB cable to your remote (it should be already connected on the computer end) press and hold down the Off button at the top of the remote. This will put the remote in "safe mode". Continue to hold down the Off button until you see the message "safe mode requested" on the remote's screen and the screen starts blinking. Now, since your screen is not behaving properly, you may or may not see this message, but after about 5 seconds you can release the Off button. Now, go back to your computer and click on "Firmware". If the software is able to communicate with the remote, an update to the remote's firmware should be executed. This has solved many a 'blue screen of death' problem. Good luck!

Can you test it again, and look at the remote. Does the remote flash, indicating that another command is sent that is powering off the TV?

SOURCE: device freeze how to I reboot
Hey, try doing the following:
1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit.
2. Connect your remote to the computer.
3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in.
4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware".
5. The remote will go through the firmware update.
6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote.
That fixed my 550 a couple of times. Seems that a firmware update will cure most ailments.
Hope it helps.

Well, you may have problem inside the TV, to find out for sure is to use this remote with SAMSUNG TV in the store where you bought it from, if it works, then I would demand them to give you a new TV since it may be a LEMON set which I would not want to own if it breaks down already, if the remote does not work in the store then ask the store to give you a new one.
Please leave rating if it helps.
