Key L,AZ and spacer does not work. lenvo s10e idea pad

try to boot to safe mode by tapping F8 repeatedly as soon as you turn on the computer. If your keyboard is not working fine when you are in safe mode, you need to replace the keyboard of your laptop. Call your computer's manufacturer if your laptop is still in warranty.

Lenvo r60e start but still black

Check to see if your memory ramm is seated correctly. You can find it under a removable cover on the bottom of your laptop. You can try popping it out and re-seating them. If that fails then (if there is 2 sticks of ramm) try booting with only one or the other in it at a time.(may have a bad stick out of the 2?) If all fails then you move onto a more technical approach,.. But most times out of any ramm becomes the common solution. Good luck!

It's not booting to the OS I take it. THen you need to do a recovery it you have one. First try F8 key when you turn laptop on try safe mode see if that boots. If it does restart F8 again try last know see if that one work that would be your last start up backup if that works you should be ok. If not then go to setup do boot from CD install your Windows CD restart your laptop and try doing a windows repair if that does not work then you will have to do a complete reinstall.
Good luck

Windows won't start on my new toshiba laptop

If it's reading the hard drive first, as it would appear it is, you need to enter the BIOS and change the order of boot devices so that it looks at the CD Rom first. Your user manual should tell you how to do this, but feel free to leave a followup comment if you want me to go over it.

It's expecting to see the CD to repair windows, but then isn't looking at the CD Rom drive first, with the result that it tries to boot straight from the hard drive and ends up in an unbreakable loop.
