Question about Wacom (PTZ930AC) Graphic Tablet

1 Answer

Tablet is unresponsive around edges

My tablet was working fine for a good while, until I recently had to reinstall one of the drives on my computer. I'm not sure if that affected my tablets performance, but now the tablet is only responsive in a small area towards the middle, like a small square where I can remove the cover to place a photo. It draws fine in the middle but does not respond when I move it from this square, though the light at the top flashes so show it's connected. I'm not sure what the problem is! Please help! Thanks!

Re: Tablet is unresponsive around edges

Hopefully, you still have the cd with original drivers for your Wacom tablet. You will need to reinstall them. If not, goto and find/select your model and download/install them. It is possible that your original drivers were over-written by other drivers. Good luck, hope this helps.

My wacom tablet has loses connection

You should get the tablet, and then get some tape, and then move around the wire, and then when it turns on, tape it onto the tablet, and then it should work intill you take off the tape.

Make sure driver is installed and there is not any ? mark or yellow ! mark in device manager.
Reinstall your tablet driver then check.
Uninstall all usb driver from computer.
Connect your tablet to computer then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Make sure usb cable is works fine if you connect your tablet to computer with usb cable.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Have the graphire 3 tablet, Not working well.

Wacom tablet not plugged into your computer with the USB cable.

Go to Add/Remove Programs, (Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs), and -> Remove
the Wacom software.

Restart your computer.
After Windows XP has fully loaded again, install the Wacom Graphire 3 CD, in your CD/DVD drive. Reinstall the software.

If you had to reinstall your Windows XP operating system, you may have corrupted some of the Wacom tablet's drivers. (Hence the shaky stylus cursor) Removing the Wacom software, and reinstalling it will repair.

Now plug the Wacom tablet into your computer.
You should see the, "Found New Hardware", pop-up out of your taskbar tray.

My Intuos3 Wacom Tablet doesn't work...sometimes

I had a similar problem with the tablet not picking up the pen until I waved it around (in range) for a few seconds.  I realized later that the slow response time was due to me having the usb plugged in to the monitor instead of directly into the computer...  I switched and all is fine now.

Wacom tablet stopped working, blue light on.

Hey I had this problem too with my Bamboo too, I'm not sure if it was anything I changed or whatever but either way the blue light was on but it wasn't registering the pen.

I found a way just minutes ago to fix it however!

Go into 'start', 'all programs', then look for 'pen tablet'. Hopefully you should have this. If not then download the latest driver for your tablet from the wacom website and that should install it.

Next choose 'pen tablet preference file utilty'. Then under 'my preferences' choose to remove. Bingo! All was well in the world again.

This worked for me so hopefully it will for some of you guys too! Good luck!
