Make sure you get colors by bringing the TV menu and see if looks normal, if it does
maybe the problem us the signal source

Bad news: The issue can only be solved by replacing the optical block for the TV. This was a defect in the design of this TV. Replacing this part is very expensive (over $1000) and time consuming (need to take whole TV apart).
Good news: Sony extended the warranty for the optical block for this model. They are covering the cost of parts and labor for this TV. Contact Sony to have them refer you to a authorized service center near you.
