The output of an amplifier sound pass through a jack. this jack has a change over contact springs.
also test the speaker resistance.
also check the AV cables resistance.

Does RCA model F27450, made in November 2002, have a digital (atsc) tuner?

Doubtful. That's long before digital broadcast was implemented. You will need an adapter box.

You should be able to do so through the menu on the TV. Look for a "MENU" button of some sort on the TV/Remote, then scroll through the settings.

Panasonic CT 27 SL - 13 GL how to connect external speakers

This TV is set up to connect to an external amplifier which that controls the speakers. It has an analog audio output which means you need an RCA audio cable (2 RCA plugs (red and white) on each end. You can't directly connect a set of speakers. The audio output jacks at between the antenna in and the video inputs. Then you need to enter the menu and enter the Audio submenu. Go to the Speakers item. Turn the TV speakers to off and fixed audio out.(The amplifier will adjust the volume.) Use the Up/Down arrows to navigate through the menu options, press enter to enter a sub-menu and the volume up button to change a setting.

There is also a headphone jack which may be compatible with computer speakers. That has a 3.5 mm jack. To use headphones, set the Speakers Audio item to TV speakers Off and variable audio out. (The TV controls will adjust the volume.)

To use a Universal remote to set the audio or modify the channel list, you need one that matches the Menu function of the original remote. You may need to try multiple codes for Panasonic TVs to get the button to work. Some low-end universal remotes may not have the menu button; get a different remote or use the menu button on the front panel of the TV.

To set the channel list, press Menu and select Setup. Go to the Prog Chan option. Then set your Mode in the first option (Cable or Air). Then choose Auto Program to scan all channels or Manual Program to edit the channel list.

The manual for the TV is available at retrevo: http://www.retrevo.com/support/Panasonic-CT-27SL13-TVs-manual/id/275ag210/t/2/ . You will need to enter a code to access the manual. See page 5 of the manual for the input connections (page 7 of the PDF).

Rca model f32695bc. I don't get any sound from the tv. i go to audio, then audio output speakers, and i try to change the settings and nothing will change. the tv is set on variable output, speakers on?

Most of the problems with no sound on this model is caused by the eeprom that has crashed the data for the audio circuit. When it does this it triggers the mute transistors on causing no sound.
Replacing the eeprom will fix the problem but you will need to make horizontal frequency, vertical and horizontal width adjustments. Because this alignment is tricky, I would not recommend doing yourself. If you do, make sure you are able to down load the service information from google. You will need to have the chassi number. Make sure to include the letter or letters after the chassi #.
Example. CTC177AB. This is important so you will be able to get the correct eeprom.
I hope this helps,
Sky Assoc

Good day.

Your problem points out to the TAC switches of your unit. Better have those pulled out and be replaced.

I called RCA about this and first was told that it was my cable company till I told the rep that it does this even when I unhook the cable. I was then told that I could take it in to get it fixed and that even it it was a bad part on their end that I could end up paying for it as if might be the pictue tube or the screen. Guess this will be the last RCA that I ever buy again.

Volume control doesn't work on the enternal speaker

On some sets that have audio output jacks, the level of the audio output on the RCA jacks is fixed, and it does not change with the TV's volume control. On some sets, such as Sony, you can choose fixed or variable output. I have also seen some sets that have both fixed and variable RCA jacks on the back. With variable audio out, the audio level at the audio output jacks follows the TV's volume control. If you go into the TV's menu and navigate to the audio page, look for fixed or variable output options. If you have the owner's manual, read the section on audio output. If variable output is not an option on your model, then the level is constant and the volume will have to be adjusted with the stereo's volume control.
