Question about Nelson Garden

Open Question

I have a yardworks sprinkler traveling tractor - it does not travel - Why?

I hook the hose to travel set the front wheel over the hose and the rear to the supply water and the sprinkler works fine. I just does not travel. Why?

I made mine stay on by wrapping a plastic tie wrap around the shaft of the stopper between the stopper head & where the stopper shaft enters the housing. It must be wide enough to keep the plunger/stopper from going into the housing. Hope this helps. God Bless You!!! Darrell

SOURCE: Nelson Tractor Sprinkler goes slow and intermittently.

I dont know of a repair kit but it sounds like the motor needs replacing..and you can find the parts online at www.lrnelsoncorp.stores.yahoo.com i hope this will help

There is an 800 number to call and you can also obtain a manual by selecting "Watering/hose end"
select "sprinklers" then "traveling". There you can download an Owners manual that has a parts breakdown in it

Part suppliers are very limited for this item. And it was the only place I found other than the LR Nelson manufacturer.

Arms don't turn, it doesn't move at all Just bought it today

Check you water pressure ... you need to have 40-60 PSI and a lrge enough hose for it to work..

I have a John Deere travelling sprinkler model 4010 and one of the rear wheels broke and I was needing to know if these are sold seperate and if so what the part number is and where to buy it.
