When buying any kind of computer hardware, I always find it to be cheapest to buy from newegg.com. The prices are lower than any local electronics store and returns are very easy to deal with.

Watch for newegg's sales, such as the daily deals and "shell shocker". The shell shocker is one product per day, usually priced much lower than usual to clear out stock.

Tip

Ensure Your Case Works with the Motherboard

The<b> motherboard</b> is an essential component of the system, but they are also manufactured in different sizes. Accordingly, it is important that you check to make sure it fits in the desired action. The good news is that all <b>motherboards</b> and cases are identified by a "<b>shape factor</b>" which is the manufacturer's sizing standards. The form factor is the most common ATX If your <b>motherboard</b> is an ATX, which tends to offer the best flexibility to choose a desktop case. After that, you will have much larger PC cases from which to choose, as most are ATX.<br />

I have a Xblade model CS859BK and am wondering if it has WiFi capability

It looks to be that you bought a barebones case which includes the case, a couple fans, and the power supply. Just with this alone it doesnt no have wifi capability. What gives the wifi capatability is a motherboard that has it built in or you can buy a motherboard and a wifi card.

Will a mATX motherboard form factor fit into a case that has a ATX motherboard form factor?

it really depends on the compatabilty of the tower ... some towers can hold matx atx itx motherboards the way to find this out is to open the case and see if there are more ways than one to configure the motherboard stand offs most towers have a blue print of sorts etched into the metal next to the holes and it will say matx or atx or itx some are lettered like atx a-9 next to the hole or you can make a template by marking the holes from the mother board to a piece of paper and put the paper in the tower to see where the holes line up hope this helps

I need a motherboard that will fit in a Raidmax ATX1072BP Mid Tower ATX Computer Case!

Most desktop computer cases have a range of standard mount holes, standard offs.
I suggest you select a motherboard that suits your requirements.
To be sure that the motherboard will fit your case, take the motherboard mount base with you to the computer shop and place the motherboard of your choice on the base to see if the mounting holes line up.
You may need to upgrade the switch mode power supply to a higher power unit if the total power requirements is near the maximum the existing unit can deliver.

Not reading scsi drives: 1 hard drive, 2 cd roms

you haven't mentioned what motherboard model you have and since it's hard for you to identify the scsi adapter, you're pretty much asking us to tell you about the birds and the bees or starting from ground zero...

this is a lot of information that you need at once.
if you aren't savvy with computer electronics, I suggest taking the pc to a pc technician and paying him a few bucks to interview him/her and give you a lot of information. you should physically be on site with someone that can optically show you how to deal with pc hardware before you begin tinkering with it on your own.

Computer cases

an at case doesnt have the extra ports than an atx case has, take for instance an atx motherboard has printer port, comp port, usb and ps2 ports near the top left side, an at motherboard only has an at keyboard connector, all the other things are put in an empty isa/pci slot

Here is a picture of an AT motherboard note top right the keyboard port and the white strip behind that is a 1 row set of pins for the power as the switch is in the power supply and not on the motherboard
http://www.pcbuyerbeware.co.uk/images5and8.htm

And This is an ATX motherboard you can see the 20pin atx power connector, because the motherboard has an electronic switch to control the power.

Wont fit the backport of the case

Today, the cases come with a 'generic' back port that pops out for specific motherboards. The Asus board should have come with a metal plate that replaces the case's version, and lines up the ports.

Help no power

This is a typically problem when you don't have the motherboard proerly seated. Some part of the board must be touching the metal contacts when you screw down the board to the case which causes a short. Try to reseat the motherboard and also make sure you're using washers in between where you screw down the motherboard to the case. That should fix your issue (Unless there's something wrong with the motherboard all-together).
