I've had this deck for a while now and I am having problems with it when I drive and hit bumps. I don't even have to hit a hard bump and it acts like the faceplate is taken off for a second and put back on. I'd like to know if I'm gonna have to have it repaired or what. I also took the deck out and made sure all the wires going in it are in securely. Please help. Thanks in a advance.

1. Hold down source until power shuts off 2. Hold down function (fnc) button for several seconds until menu appears. (newer models that dont have the function button, hold down source a second time instead) 3. Every time function is pressed it go to next menu option 4. Use station tuning pad to set time 5. Push source when done
there is usually a small hole about the size of a pencil tip on the face or on the subpanel (behind the face) . it will be unmarked. you can also reset it by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
Not sure on mute wire. To find remote wire get a multimeter turn car off and check all wires on harness for power. Then turn car on/acc and check again the one that has power when on and not off is the remote.
to fix this press and hold the source button till unit turns off the source button switches from CD - radio...................once your unit powers off........press and hold the function button down till the clock appears in display you should also hear a beep when this happens.........press the function button repeatedly until the telephone feature appears now switch by pressing the skip button to ATT (Attention) once this is done press the source button to power on the pioneer unit simply turn up the volume and problem should be solved......
hope i was able to help
On most pioneers you press source to turn the radio off (while the car is still in the run or ACC positin). Then press and hold FUNC to enter the menu. Then use the directional joystick to make the changes.
Your deck has "reverse mode" activated. To turn it off, just turn off the power by holding the source button. The press the preset "5" button. When you turn the deck back on, reverse mode should be disabled.
(If this doesn't work, try the same procedure with button "6". One's for reverse mode, the other for demo mode, but I'm not sure I remember which is which).
