Question about Mitsubishi VS-60703 60" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Blue screen I have a Mitsubishi vs-60703 and after I moved I can only get a blue screen with sound. However I can get PIP and swap it to the big portion of the screen but I still have to have the PIP on the bottom right corner. If I turn PIP off all I get is the blue screen with sound. Also, when I push input it will only show me Ant-A and Ant-B, no Video 1, 2, Component or S-Video. Please help.

Sound no picture

You can buy a PIP circuit card on the internet(about $15.00) that can replace your current PIP card. It will bypass the PIP function which is most likely the problem. Instructions for instal come with new card. It's a relatvely easy task if you are in anyway technically capable. Worth the try. Rexman

Blue screen and sound but no picture, except in PIP mode

The lighting possibly damage the tuner of the set,for now you can swap the pip with the main picture and change the channels with the vcr,you need the assitance of a service to diagnose how much damage is there but.Let us know what you find or if you nned more information.

65 inch Mitsubishi tv Model # vs-60703

so does it have sound??? If so then the set is probably in a hv shutdown because of a weak tube or is in vieo safty mode as the vert has failed in the set. On cost here in Michigan a tube could cost up to 300 bucks + labor and on the vert repair about 250.00 to 400.00 to fix
