2000 Ford focus td cl estate fails to start

I have a focus estate that fails to start after i blew a fuse when installing a CD player. I have changed over the blown fuse, CD player now work but the car stil will not start, There is over a quarter tank of diesel.
The battery is also fine as this has been checked along with testing all the other fuses.
is there a fuel cut off switch in the diesel focus that might have been triggered when the fuse blew?
Any suggestions that could be provided are welcome.

On your fuse panel, check the fuse that says ign.it is the 4th one back from the front and is a 40 amp fuse.

Passenger compartment fuse panel: The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the CD stowage box to access the fuses. THis and other details can find in the 2005-Ford-Focus-Owners-Manual (page 148 and next).

That's a sign that the spark plug wire's are breaking down, replace.

You have a short ,check were the wires come out of the body and go into the doors

Fuse for 1999/2000 ford focus diesel estate cigarette lighter

its fuse 46 and it should be a 15 amp according to the manual as i have the same car as you hope this helps

Keys lock doors but will not open them

Try spraying graphite lock lube into the door lock cylinders, this usally corrects this problem.
