Question about LaCie Photon20visionII 20.1" LCD Monitor
The monitor controls on the panel at bottom of the unit are not working (except for brightness adjust). When I select menu and source a box appears on screen saying "Digital Video Input No Access". i tried a different computer but ghad same problem. tried a new DVD cable from monitor to computer but no change in problem. Using abobe gamma I can see that the monitor c olor control and contrast do work but apparently can't the softwaredoes not allow me to adjust the monitor from the control pannel. Why? I have a Dual 2.3 GHz Power PC G5 computer with OS10.4.3. I want to use the Spyder Pro to profile the monitor but can't make adjustments to the monitor. Please help!
Computer seems fine, Cable changed. but still the same. This is to expected, the monitor mounted controls are directed to monitor not part of the data input. Thus suggests a board failure in the Monitor. Just to prove the point if you have the monitor driver installed delete it and run as generic monitor. If things change reinstall the dedicated driver Though I suspect this is a monitor failure not computer related.
