How do I remove the c-map card from the unit?

Hi Bernie

From your owners manual, (Page 94) push in on the C-card lightly and UP until you hear a click. The card will then eject.

I've included a link to your owners manual should you require it.
Hope this helps
-Steve

I recently bought a boat with this type depth finder on it. It was working fine until I was unable to get off a local beach that people commonly pull up on. The water ran out and the entire bottom was...

Hi, make sure that the bottom of the transducer is parallel to the bottom of the boat. It probably has been knocked upwards while on the beach. If not the transducer will need to be replaced. Hope this helps, regards Phil.

I have a SI-TEX black box receiver and I'd like to connect it to a Garmin GPS chartplotter. The SI-TEX black box receiver instructions at one point say:"If the GPS has a NMEA output (or NMEA REF) connect...

Yes, the NMEA- output (I think you lefy uot the "-" in your questoin), anyway, the NMEA - or NMEA negative or NMEA ref is hooked to battery supply ground.
Dont forget to program the Garmin to look for 48,000 baud data.

Unit will not pull up the anchor

First, put a volt meter across the winch's power terminals to verify that the voltage is not dropping several volts when comanded to run, indicating a bad cable connection somewhere. Anchor winch's pull alot of current from a battery.
For a test, use car jumper cables from a good battery to the winch to see if it runs better.

Loses the depth after around 60 feet.

Is the transducer face clean? Fouling and barnacles can cause poor depth readings. Also, a low power output from transmitter or poor sensitivity of the receiver (both internal), or a broken transducer cable connection (usually accompanied by heavy noise being painted on screen). With your ear in the water, fairly close to transducer (6-10 ft., you should hear a clear tick-tick-tick sound as it transmits on a medium depth range.. No power adjustment is available in the menus, but the unit does transmit at a slower rate, with wider (stronger) pulses on the deeper ranges.

Lowrance LMS522c transducer

Probably not. Usually the transducer is made specifically for the head unit it is designed for. More often than not, transducers are not interchangeable, particularly across brands. Also, for best results, you really want to install the transducer that came with your new lowrance. That will give you the best results and sonar clarity.

Hope that helps!
