The heater was all fine before I had the spark plugs serviced. It was blowing out cold air, then a little bit warm air, then went back to cold air again. Tried all settings. Could it be the mechanics forgot to hook up something that they took off when service the spark plugs? Thanks.

Hi Ricky, Thanks for the reply. I found my coolant was low, added some coolant, and it's all fine now. Thanks again.

My guess would be that the thermostat is stuck in the open position causing this problem.

SOURCE: 2002 Jeep Liberty P0174 code and mech has changed the o2 sensor

Can't tell you exactly what is wrong but the one thing you said is of concern...Map sensor should not be full of oil. If it is, I'd want to know why. In finding the reason for that, you may also find the reason why you are having a problem.
Jeep uses two kinds of engine crank venting. you either have a pcv valve or an orifice controlled system. If either are obstructed it can overpressure the crankcase and cause all kinds of problems.
Years of experience tells me this isn't something I can guess at and be 100% sure I have the right answer but based on what you said, I'd look there first!

SOURCE: I have a 2002 Jeep Liberty Limited, 3.7 L motor.

Jeeps are notorious for having broken temperature control (Blend Air) doors. A malfunctioning Blend Air Door actuator probably caused it to break. The dash will have to be removed to replacethe door and the door actuator.

2002 jeep liberty heat only works at high rpm

Sounds like low flow issue. Flush and clean system, PROPERLY! Buy a flush kit, drain system, blow compressed air through, fill with cleaner/water mix, run for 30 min with heat on, drain system, blow out with compressed air, fill with water, run for 30 min, drain, blow out with compressed air, fill with 60% coolant mix.

Cant get no spark frome plug

can you tell us what engine is in your jeep liberty? most likely you have the 3.7 v-6 but we can not assume that. if you have the v-6 with a coil for each cylinder then switch the coils from a known good cylinder and see if the same cylinder is still misfiring. if so then replace the coil and the spark plug and or all the spark plugs. those coils are prone to failure.

2002 liberty 3.7 liter. I have replaced the coil, plugs and injector for cylinder #6. On cold starts I get a ramdom misfire code and engine is missing. If I re-start 3-4 times engine starts up and runs...

If you have Coil- on -Plug you haven't found the bad one yet

Your not always going to get a code that is correct
e.g.PO304,PO305 etc

I would buy the injector from you, as I'm sure that wasn't it,
unless you have an air leak around it

You want no vacuum leaks,a near new EGR Valve,no
air induction tubing leaks

Clean the MAF Sensor with CRC MAF Cleaner

Clean Throttle Plate--CRC Throttle Body Cleaner

You did put anti-sieze on those spark plugs, if not
do so.

How old are the O2 Sensors
More than 80,000 mile, replace the front 2 with OEM
Specific Make--Bosch or NGK etc and not some
cut & splice universal type

The plugs are loated under each coil pack for every cylinderca82c8a.gif 1. Using compressed air, blow out any dirt or contaminants from around top of spark plug.
2. Check condition of coil O-ring (2) and replace as necessary. To aid in coil installation, apply silicone to coil O-ring (2).
3. Position ignition coil (1) into cylinder head opening and push onto spark plug. Do this while guiding coil base over mounting stud.
4. Install coil mounting stud nut (2). Tighten to 8 N·m (70 in.lbs).
5. Connect electrical connector to coil by snapping into position.
6. If necessary, install throttle body air tube.

AC is cold for about 5-15 minutes when I first start 2002 Jeep Liberty (first start of the day). After that, its warm air.

sounds like you have excessive moisture in the system. you need to have the system evacuated then vacuumed and rechrge. We were just talking about this scenario today in college automotive air conditioning class hope this helps.
