Proform 6.0 CE Elliptical squeaking

Squeaking from under the cover drives me nuts. I don't know how to fix it.

SOURCE: Have proform 850 elliptical, unit jerks at bottom of travel

This is caused by a loose crank arm. The key assembly is loose. (#32 on your parts list) The covers will need to be removed to access this. Be sure the crank arms are realigned against the frame when completing the repair. Good luck, Tim

It sounds like the sleeve bushings maybe dry usually penetrating oil will take care of this problem. If not you may need to replace bushing then go to iconfitness.com to customer service then to replacement parts you'll get part# and Pricing

Detachthe ends of the pedals from the crank axles. Spread a layer of machine greaseover the crank axles, then reattach the ends of the pedals.2
Removethe bolts connecting the pedals to the swing arms. Detach the pedals from thearms, then spread a layer of machine grease over the axles on the swing arms.On some models, the bolts may also serve as the axles. Reattach the pedals tothe arms.3
Removethe bolts connecting the swing arms to the elliptical's upright. Detach theswing arms from the upright, then spread a layer of machine grease over theaxles on the upright. Reattach the arms to the upright.

Right pedal makes clicking noise from the rear of the machine


Remove the right side shield and watch it operate and you'll see what's clicking. You're manual shows you how to remove the right side covering.

Proform hybrid trainer squeaks - elliptical portion only. Everything tight. What do I do now?


Locate the site of the sqeak. Then spray WD40 or similar spray lubricant thoroughly in and around the screws in that area using the straw attachment. I did just that and it took care of the problem.

My elliptical trainer is starting to squeak. What should I do?


Don't worry; this is a common problem in elliptical trainers. Over time, parts of the machine may start to squeak. I am going to attach a how-to guide that will explain what to do when this happens.

1) adjust magnet with the bolt looses with a wrench, tight very well.
2) proof the magnet for attraction or repulsion with the magnet from your refrigerator, if NOT pass the test replace it.

I have a proform 14.0 ce and the menu buttons dont work


`1) tight the ribblon cable from keypads very well, + tight the wire connector from display board+vs lower board see the block diagrama

2) adjust the reed swithc, clean, and tigh the connector well.

I have an older proform elliptical and the battery cover cracked.


Go to FitnessRepairParts com and type in your exact model number in the search box at the top to view the parts list for that model. You may be able to find a cover there. Or you can contact support if you can't find your exact model number, they are very helpful
