Question about Computers & Internet
I am trying to find a download for the recovery of packard Bell laptop on XP. The recovery partition within the machine is not there and it desperately needs reformatting....any suggestions and ideas gratefully received
So you are using two different XP discs with two different activation codes? That may cause problems. Anyway you are probably already formated with NTFS. So it sounds like you are trying to re-install XP? Go in set-up and choose the CD/DVD ROM drive as the first boot device then start up with the XP disc in the drive. Use the disc for the original XP that was on the computer. This may get you to a point where you can re-install.
