Problem for Sharp VT-G14 14 in. TV/VCR Combo

Problem with our TV - Sharp VT-G14

We accidently pushed a button on the remote that has a symbol of the key?...we think. The light on the front of the TV came on under the same symbol. Now the remote doesn't work nor any other controls...so can't use any of the remote control functions...and you can only control using the remote. We do not have the instructions with us anymore.

pullot out the batteri of remont control push any buton2,3sec and insert your bateri insaid of remont and go

Try pressing and HOLDING the button on the remote for a few seconds. This button is a sort of "kid-proof" lock, to prevent curious fingers from playing with the TV.

I held down the tamper proof button forever and it wouldn't work. But I got really close to the TV and held it down and voila!!! Yay!
