Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
Assuming there is a cartridge installed in the right hand slot I would recommend doing the following:
-Remove the cartridge from the printer
-Wipe the cartridges contacts with a piece of kitchen tissue
-Wipe the corresponding contacts inside the printer
-Re-install the cartridge
If the cartridge is still not recognised then it is likely to be faulty and I would recommend replacing it. If the problem persists the problem is likely to be connected to wear and tear of the cartridge carrier inside the printer and would be pretty expensive to fix.
