Question about LG WM-1832C Front Load Washer
I followed your instruction and removed the front lid of my washer but I did not see any foam at all. Instead it is a circuit panel full of wires.
I also removed the bottom panel in the back of the washer where the drum is but there is no foam as you described.
You should have access to the sides of the drum. Attatch foam to the either the drum or he outside casing.
The problem is caused by the drum moving too much (because of the defective dampers).
This is a cheaper fix than replacement dampers.
